VETSTOR, the developer of the first Czech platform for digital animal health records and personalized pet care, has closed an investment round totalling EUR 1 million. The latest investor to join is JSK Investments, founded by Czech entrepreneur Simona Kijonková. Alongside JSK, the round was supported by Purple Ventures, ZAKA VC, Ondřej Kania and BUDETO. VETSTOR plans to use the new capital primarily to advance its product – expand its feature set, integrate AI capabilities, strengthen marketing and explore new markets to accelerate its European expansion and reinforce its position in the pet health tech sector.

“VETSTOR brings together several elements we look for when investing: an experienced and ambitious founding team, an attractive product with strong scaling potential, and a clearly defined market need. For many families, caring for their pets is as important as caring for their own health. Yet there is still a significant gap in communication and information flow between veterinary clinics and the home. VETSTOR helps bridge that gap, and its value is evident both from a business perspective and in its impact on everyday life for people and their pets,” says Simona Kijonková, Founder and Managing Partner of JSK Investments.

Bridging the Gap Between Veterinary Care and Everyday Pet Care
VETSTOR is the first Czech startup providing pet owners with digital health records for their animals. Through integrations with veterinary clinics, the platform translates medical notes into clear, understandable language, reminds owners of important dates and provides recommendations tailored to each pet’s individual needs. It also offers expert advice and personalized access to veterinarian-approved food, supplements, insurance and other pet health products. The platform leverages modern technologies and artificial intelligence to streamline everyday workflows and communication for veterinarians.

Our mission is to ensure that pet owners have all essential health information in one place, written in a way they can easily understand. At the same time, we want to free veterinarians from administrative burdens so they can focus on care itself. This investment will allow us to enhance the product and strengthen preventive care – helping pets receive attention before minor issues become major problems,” says Lucie Brabcová, Co-Founder and CEO of VETSTOR.

From Investor to Strategic Partner
The latest investment is being made by JSK Investments, founded by entrepreneur and investor Simona Kijonková together with Jaromír Kijonka. JSK focuses on projects with strong growth potential, experienced founding teams and meaningful societal impact, leveraging the team’s long-standing expertise in building technology and e-commerce businesses.

JSK Investments joins VETSTOR with the ambition to support the company not only financially but also through hands-on know-how in scaling businesses and entering new markets. We aim to support VETSTOR in establishing effective processes, logistics and marketing, as well as in areas such as data management, customer experience and team scaling. We want to be a partner the team can rely on whenever it needs to move the company to the next stage,” adds Kijonková.

European Expansion and Platform Development
VETSTOR will use the investment primarily to further evolve its platform. It is preparing new features powered by artificial intelligence, expanding its marketing efforts and conducting in-depth analysis of international markets. Over the next year, the company plans to enter its first European markets, where it will test various collaboration models with clinics and partners in insurance and nutrition. The focus will be on expanding functionality for both veterinarians and pet owners, improving personalization of recommendations and strengthening the connection between health data and real-world services. The aim is to scale the business across Europe and establish VETSTOR as one of the leading players in pet health tech.

“The new funding allows us to accelerate development of data- and AI-driven features, test new types of recommendations and explore partnership models abroad, all while preparing VETSTOR for expansion. Our goal is to make our technology a natural companion for veterinarians and pet owners - simplifying care wherever possible,” says Nikola Šafránek, Co-Founder and CTO of VETSTOR.
