Simona Kijonková thus becomes one of the first women in Czech history since 1989 to not only establish a self-managed SICAV fund, but also to lead it as Chairwoman of the Board.

JSK Investments has successfully obtained a license to establish and manage a self-managed SICAV-type investment fund for qualified investors. This milestone marks a major step forward in the development of the JSK Group and will allow it to structure its investment activities into separate sub-funds. The initial capital amounts to approximately CZK 2 billion, with plans to increase it to several billion crowns over the next few years. The fund is open to qualified investors with a minimum investment of EUR 125,000.

"Obtaining the license to establish a self-managed SICAV brings our vision of becoming a leading global investment player one step closer to reality. I would like to thank the entire JSK team, which worked tirelessly for months to make this happen. My sincere thanks also go to the Czech National Bank for its trust and cooperation. This is an important milestone for us we certainly do not take for granted. There are only a few self-managed SICAVs in the Czech Republic, and we are proud to now be among them," says Simona Kijonková, Managing Partner and Founder of JSK Investments. "A year ago, I made the decision to fully dive into the world of investments and to take the most demanding path. Thanks to an exceptional investment team and the professionals around me, I firmly believe we will achieve our vision," she adds.

The fund will initially consist of several sub-funds with specific focuses. The Private & Growth Equity Sub-Fund targets majority stakes in medium-sized companies with an investment horizon of 5–8 years, emphasizing scaling and expansion in sectors such as e-commerce, logistics, FMCG, manufacturing, and healthcare. The Venture Capital Sub-Fund focuses on minority investments in promising early-stage startups. Another key area for JSK Investments is supporting stable, family-owned businesses with a long-term investment outlook.

"The fund’s goal is long-term capital appreciation. For the Private & Growth Equity sub-funds, we expect annual returns exceeding 15%, while for Venture Capital, around 10%. The SICAV structure also enables us to reach qualified investors and offer them the opportunity to share in this growth alongside us. In addition to the dozens of investments we have already made which will become part of the SICAV we will be adding new, exciting projects across all sub-funds in the coming weeks. Establishing a self-managed SICAV strengthens JSK Investments market position and provides a flexible vehicle for future growth," concludes Simona Kijonková.
